IPV4 or Internet Protocol version 4 has set aside a few IP addresses for private use, so they don’t receive traffic from the Internet and are only able to work within a local network.
10.0.0.2 is one of these private addresses and is set on many routers as a default gateway.
In case there are any connection problems or if you want to change the router settings — access the router’s 10.0.0.2 admin panel. You can reach it by entering http://10.0.0.2 in the browser’s address bar.

You don’t require an internet connection to reach the 10.0.0.2 admin login page, but you need to ensure that the router is connected to your device (PC, laptop, etc.) either wirelessly or with an Ethernet cable.

It’s easy to get confused by all these zeros and enter an extra zero or an uppercase ‘O’. So you end up with 10.0.0.0.2 or 1O.O.O.2 instead of 10.0.0.2 – in both cases, you’d get an error.
